Hi!  I’m Sarah.

I live in Maryland with my husband (Aug) who is the best man I know   We’ve known each other since we were babies, but it was only God that brought us together.  We have two amazing children – Jonathan (born in 2011) and Abigail (born in 2013).  They are truly the babies of teachers, as they were both born during summer vacation!

Before Abby was born, I taught first grade for five years and co-taught kindergarten for two years.  I love helping children learn to read and seeing their eyes light up when everything starts to click.

This blog was born out of an effort to chronicle my journey as a stay-at-home mama and wife.  My hope is to encourage others and maybe share a craft/learning activity or two.

I love Jesus and am loved by Him.  This is the best thing that has ever happened to me, and I strive to live in response to such great Love.
